5 Quick Successful Ways To Boost Your Self-Confidence
“This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.”
I love that verse and I sometimes recite to my boys in the morning.
(Which is always met with moans and groans.)
However some mornings we just don’t feel like it.
We don’t feel like rejoicing every morning or every day.
“All the king’s officials and even the people in the provinces know that anyone who appears before the king in his inner court without being called, there is but one law- to be put to death, except the one to whom the king holds out his gold scepter. And the kign has not called for me to come to him for thirty days” Esther 4:11
On this day Queen Esther was not feeling it. She was not rejoicing in the Day the Lord has made.
She was miserable with low self-esteem.
There was no way she felt she was at a level to go see the King.
But what did she do?
She did it anyway.
But she did with a plan.
Queen Esther had a plan before she went ahead and faced her fear.
So when you are feeling low.
When you don’t feel like rejoicing in the Day the Lord has made, you can make a plan to get up when grey dawn appears.
The Promise of God today
1. You are enough
There are many reasons why you may have self-doubt. There are a number of reason to feel self-doubt.
Past Actions: They always have a way of creeping back into your thoughts. Sometimes when the movie is playing over and over in your mind. One way I have found to stop this movie from playing over and over is to write a “letter” to myself or the person I want to say heavy things too. I write this in my journal time when I am doing my mind clearing journaling. It is an awesome way to get the air cleared.
Peoples Word: If someone said something to you that is not nice or touch a nerve it can leave a lasting effect on you. I mean Esther was the Queen and she had self-esteem issues. She was a Queen and her husband hadn’t called for her in a month. Talk about people talking about her and to her. Yet she still moved forward and you can too. Let go of those thoughts. You can write them down and then burn them. I know it sounds woo-woo but it is really freeing for your mind to see those negative thoughts turn to smoke and fade away.
And let’s be honest LIFE: Your life right now has a lot to do with your self-confidence. Life can be a downer with a job, family, and bills. With Queen Esther she hadn’t been with her husband in over a month and you know he wasn’t by himself. But what did Mordecai say?
“Who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” Esther 4:14
Who knows whether you have been brought to this place in your life for a day as this?
Who knows who you are going to save, help or heal today.
One of the best ways to over some low self-confidence is to help others. When you are helping others you take the focus off yourself and on to the other person.
Take what you have already learned in your life. Take the trails and valleys that God has brought you through and help someone else today.
2. Your dreams matter
You have Self-Doubt in your dreams, just know that your dreams do matter and God is with you and for you for your dreams to come to pass.
It doesn’t matter what others have said about you or what negative thoughts you have about yourself or what you are currently doing in your life. All that matters is God is with you and He cares about your dreams.
So move on from your pass. Disregard what you did or what you said. Disregard what others have done to you or said to you because this is the day you are moving forward toward your awesome life that you were created for.
This is your day and your life, don’t let your current circumstances make you doubt yourself or the abilities that God gave you. He placed dreams in your heart for a reason. Today is the day to grab those dreams move forward. This is your day and your life, don’t let your current circumstances make you doubt yourself or the abilities that God gave you. 3. Miracles are Natural
With God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26)
They are not just for Queen Esther or other Hero’s in the Bible. No Miracles are happing every day. Some may say Miracles are rare but when you seek God with your whole heart God will reveal himself to you today. (Jeremiah 29:13)
When you spend time in prayer and meditating and confessing can help increase your self-confidence.
Try meditating on the verse:
“ I am fearfully and wonderfully made. (Psalm 139:14)
4. Authenticity is magnetic
Ok so we have a heard if from our mothers… “just be yourself and people will like you”
Well, your mother was right. As always.
Just be you the real you not who you think you should be and yes others will be attracted to you.
When you are strong in the Lord, You can be strong in who you are.
You will have strong self-confidence.
When you increase your self-confidence will, in turn, increase your dreams of becoming the Queen of Your Life that God created you be!
5. You’ve totally got this!
YES, YOU DO!
You are awesome and wonderfully made.
Confidence isn’t walking into a room with your nose in the air, and thinking you are better than everyone else, it’s walking into a room and not having to compare yourself to anyone else in the first place.
It is knowing that God began a great work in you and He will complete it if you let Him. This means getting up out of bed and saying…
This is the Day the Lord has made and let’s be glad in it…. Because I am going to rock this day. This is the day I concur my dreams and goals. (last part add by me. )
